====== iODBC - System Preferences ======
 
If you receive a message that the item "can't be opened because it was not downloaded from the App Store," follow the steps below.

| 1. Go to **System Preferences** found either on the dock or by searching for "System Preferences" using the Spotlight Search (the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen). |    | 
| 2. After opening System Preferences, click on Security & Privacy   | {{:it:student:mysql_instructions:system_preferences.png?direct|}}|
