Online and mobile polling solutions are great tools used to increase student engagement, build comprehension and accelerate student learning. Typically incorporated as in-class activities, they are useful for collecting survey results, administering low-stakes assessments, review and practice, taking attendance, and other creative uses.

===== Polling Tools =====

CPH IT supports 2 polling solutions:

**Poll Everywhere:** A free polling solution useful for anonymous polling and interactive responses for up to 40 participants

**Top Hat:** A full-featured polling solution (currently being piloted in CPH) integrated with the Canvas Gradebook; useful for tracking attendance, surveys, low-stakes assessments, engagement and interactivity
