Gmail to Outlook Migration
The University made the decision to consolidate all email accounts to a single system - Microsoft Outlook 365. This will provide advantages, such as having one university-wide email system with shared calendaring and integration with the Microsoft 365 apps.
NOTE: If you are not currently on Gmail, then your email account will not be changed. Some of the tips in this email may still be helpful.

To help you understand what's happening, the College of Education created a brief video introduction to the migration. Watch it online on YouTube and check the comments for links to the resources referenced in the video. Keep in mind that the dates in the video do not apply to CPH.
Migrations Begin Next Week (Feb 8-12)
CPH faculty, staff, and students will be migrated starting next week:
- Staff and faculty will be migrated Feb 8-9
- Students will be migrated Feb 10-11
On the day of your migration you'll receive an email sent to your Gmail account confirming the migration has begun. Between 7:00 pm and midnight of that day, your email account will be unavailable while your mail is transferred to Outlook 365. During this time, any new messages you receive will accumulate in your Outlook 365 Inbox. Starting the next morning, you will be able to log in to access your mail and begin sending mail.

After the migration, when you login to https://tumail.temple.edu, you’ll be directed to the Outlook 365 Web Application (OWA). We think you’ll find the interface to be user-friendly and intuitive, but if you anything is confusing or you want to learn more about using Outlook, explore these resources:
