Self-Selecting Breakout Rooms

Please update your Zoom client to the latest version by following the steps outlined in this article.

1. Click on Breakout Rooms along the bottom of the Zoom window
2. Click on Join for the breakout room you would like to enter. Note: If on a Mac, hover over the number shown all the way to the right of the breakout room name. Then, you will see the Join* button.*
3. Click on Yes
4. You will be brought into the breakout room


1. Click on Breakout Rooms along the bottom of the Zoom window
2. Click on Choose Breakout
3. Click Join next to the name of another breakout room and then click Yes to enter that breakout room. You will be brought into the other breakout room.

2. Click on Ask for Help
3. Click on Invite Host
4. The host will receive a notification to join the breakout room
